A basket of aromas filled with blackberry and blackcurrant as well as woody impressions of moss and mulch - plus a unique reduction note reminiscent of mushroom, leather and cold ash. Deep and full-bodied thanks to coffee, dark chocolate and salty licorice.
Those who like it unconventional will be happy with this Pinot Noir.
The "Kaiser" vineyard is approx. 0.3 hectares in size, lies directly below the forest and is therefore somewhat cooler and more open to the wind. For us, the best Pinot parcels on the Lämmler are in this area.
Mazeration with 100 % whole grapes. Fermentation with the natural yeast in french wooden fermenters
