A grape variety that is better known from the Alpine republic than here in the Rems Valley. However, our Swabian Grüner Veltliner does not have to hide behind its Austrian sibling. With its spicy and powerful note, hints of white pepper, lime zest and white-fleshed pear, it is an animating accompaniment to food. The subtle use of wood makes it full-bodied, but in harmony with a crystal-clear acid backbone, it is more elegant than overpowering.
